Today, National Caregivers Day, we recognize all types of caregivers 🫶: our associates who bring compassion and professionalism to their interactions with our residents; family members who lovingly care for their loved ones; and other professionals in the healthcare industry who take care of those who cannot take care of themselves.

🎄 During the month of December, both Life Care Center of Omaha and Life Care Center of Elkhorn held a blanket drive, collecting blankets to be delivered to the Siena Francis House, a local homeless shelter, here in Nebraska. The admissions team drove down and were able to hand all of the blankets out to individuals in need of some warmth. 🩷

We held a contest in the building, giving everyone who donated a chance to win. Our winner was one of our residents, Angela. The drive was so inspiring that we will be holding a sock drive, "Walking into the New Year" during the month of January. 🧦 What an amazing experience to be a part of!
