💜Introducing Our New Chaplain-Natasha!💜

We are thrilled to welcome Natasha to the Haven Hospice family as our new Chaplain! 🙏
With over 20 years of ministry experience in the Omaha metro area and more than 6 years in senior care, Natasha brings a deep well of compassion, understanding, and expertise to her role. She holds certifications in grief and bereavement counseling, dementia care, and has previous hospice and skilled nursing chaplain experience.
A proud graduate of Grace University, Natasha is passionate about walking alongside patients and families during some of life’s most meaningful moments. She shares, “I feel so honored to have this opportunity to offer support, compassion and comfort to those who I am able to serve in this role.”
Outside of her work, Natasha is just as dedicated to her community — coaching basketball for Papillion LaVista South High School and a local club in Gretna. She’s a proud wife, mom of four, and dog lover — always cheering from the sidelines or helping youth grow in confidence and character through sports.

In hospice care, we recognize that emotional and spiritual suffering can be just as significant as physical pain. Doctors and nurses work together to manage discomfort using the most effective medications and medical tools available. In addition, specialists in areas such as physical therapy, music therapy, and massage therapy contribute to the overall comfort and well-being of patients. Counselors—including members of the clergy—offer emotional and spiritual support to individuals receiving care, while also providing grief support to families and caregivers.💜

Introducing one of Havens newest members of the nursing team! 🌟

“Hello, my name is Kate, and I am excited to bring both my professional passion and personal life experiences into this new role. As a mother of six, ranging in age from nine to twenty-four, I’ve learned the art of multitasking, patience, and finding joy in the busiest of days. Nursing has always been my calling, and my heart has found a special home in hospice care. After losing my father, I gained a deeper understanding of hospice—not only from a caregiver’s perspective but also as a family member—an experience that continues to shape the way I serve others with compassion and empathy.

Outside of nursing, I am passionate about self-care, the outdoors, and traveling—because I believe balance and adventure fuel the best versions of ourselves. My life motto is simple but powerful: we are not promised tomorrow, so live every day to the fullest. I bring that mindset into every interaction, whether with patients, families, or colleagues, striving to make each day meaningful.

I’m eager to contribute my skills, heart, and perspective to this role, and I look forward to the journey ahead.” 💜💜💜
