A very happy birthday to Dawn and the rest of the August Birthdays! We celebrated in style with the amazing Bill Chrastil, who had us clapping, swaying, and even dancing in our seats (and some on our feet😉) His music brought so much joy, and it was just what we needed-a day full of smiles, laughter, and a little extra happiness. Thank you kitchen for the home made pop tarts! And Jessica for the tres leches cake 🎂 Lisa thank you for bringing your wonderful family and delicious cup cakes 🧁!

A very happy (belated) birthday to our dear Dorothy! Yesterday, she was spoiled with love, the most beautiful flowers, and enough birthday cards to fill the yellow brick road! She is such a sweet, kind soul, and we are lucky to have her in our community. And how perfect is it that her birthday falls during Wizard of Oz Month? There's truly no place like home here with our Dorothy!

Our Friday Happy Hour was elevated by a phenomenal performance from one of our most admired residents. Derwin's grand daughter generously shared her singing talent with us, leaving us in awe of her remarkable voice.
Thank you so much Carly. Your talent, heart, and beautiful energy lit up the room and brought so many smiles to our residents.

As we start looking forward to the fall, comes the very important need of helping the children of our community begin their next school year. We are asking that you please join us in donating much needed school supplies to help them kick off this year right. We will have donation bins set up at our community for you to drop of your donation.

🌊 Surfs Up at Surfside! 🌞

Today we took a sunny little trip to Surfside—and let me tell you, the waves weren’t the only thing rolling… the laughter and good conversation were nonstop too!

This special outing was requested by our residents, and of course, we were more than happy to make it happen. That’s what person-centered care is all about—listening to their voices, honoring their wishes, and creating moments that matter. 💙

Outings like this do more than just get us out of the building—they lift spirits, spark memories, encourage friendships, and give everyone something new to talk (and smile) about. From the fresh air and the change of scenery to the joy of simply being together, every moment was a treasure.

Thank you to our wonderful crew for making it a day to remember—we’re already looking forward to the next adventure! 🌴🚌☀️

🌸📸 We came. We planted. We posed. And somehow, we didn’t get too much dirt on our clothes! 😄

Today was full of flower power, big smiles, and even bigger teamwork. From picking out the prettiest blooms to striking our best "garden glam" poses, we truly rose to the occasion! 🌹✨

Special shoutout to our resident green thumb, Derwin, who’s been keeping those flowers happy and hydrated! 💧🌼 Without him, we’d be looking at a lot of wilted selfies! 😂

And as if that wasn’t enough fun, we topped it all off with our July Jamboree—good music, good food, and even better company. 🎶🌭

Teamwork really does make the dream work (and keeps us from planting things upside down). 🌞👏

Let’s give a BIG bear hug to Trish, our amazing cook and the peanut butter to our Dietary Manager’s jelly! 💖 She keeps our bellies full, our taste buds happy, and somehow still finds time to be a rockstar mom AND help with a dog rescue! 🐶💕

In her free time (what little she has!), she’s snuggling up with her beloved Care Bears — because nothing says “kitchen warrior” like a rainbow of pastel bears and a heart full of gold. 🌈🐻

We don’t know how she does it all, but we’re so BEARY grateful to have her!

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing Papillion Singing Seniors for filling Esprit Whispering Ridge with patriotic pride and pure joy today! 🇺🇸❤️ From Elvis and the Beach Boys to Alan Jackson and Glenn Miller, it was a musical treat that had toes tapping, hands clapping, and smiles all around. 💃🕺
