Melanie Haynes-McCurry, a native of Omaha and educated in the Midwest, brings more than 30 years of expertise in dementia care and adult day programming. For over 3 decades at New Cassel Retirement Center, she has cultivated strong bonds with families and built lasting community partnerships.

In her role as director of the Franciscan Adult Day Center, Melanie is passionate about supporting individuals living with dementia and their caregivers. She finds deep fulfillment in helping others and believes that by striving to create a better world for those impacted by dementia we enrich the lives of all.

Kudos to our Life Enrichment team for the incredibly fun Trunk & Treat. The trunks were creatively designed with exciting games, and the residents had an absolute blast handing out treats. We appreciate the generous candy donations and all those who dressed in costumes. Happy Halloween 🎃.
