🍽️ Out to Lunch at Shirley’s Diner! 🍽️
We had a wonderful time enjoying a delicious meal and even better company at Shirley’s Diner. Our Out to Lunch (or Dinner!) bunch always knows how to have fun—lots of laughs, great conversation, and a fantastic way to meet neighbors. Nothing beats good food and good friends, and it’s never a dull moment at Maple Ridge! 💙

🕷️ Fear was put to the test at Maple Ridge on Friday the 13th! 🕷️

Our residents stepped up to the Maple Ridge Fear Factor challenge—and while there was a little hesitation at first, one bite was all it took to realize… it was all good fun! 😄 From “blood clots” (cherry pie filling 🥧) to “spider webs” (cotton candy 🍭) and even “toe nails” (banana chips 🍌), everyone faced their fears head on and came out smiling. Lots of laughs were shared, cheers were heard, and every participant proved they were true Maple Ridge Fear Factor Champions 🏆 A great time was had by all, and we’re already looking forward to doing it again—because you just never know what our Lifestyle Director, Jessica, is going to come up with next! 😉 Thanks to everyone who joined in, watched, laughed, and cheered. What a fun Friday the 13th! 🎉

🎲 Left, Right, Center Fun! 🎲 We may have struggled with our lefts and our rights at first, but we had an absolute blast doing so! Most of us hadn’t played Left, Right, Center before, but everyone caught on quickly — and the laughs were nonstop once the dice started rolling. Chips were flying left, right, and… occasionally the wrong direction! 😄 It was the perfect mix of luck, learning, and lively fun. Can’t wait to play again! 🎉

🎉 Twister With a Twist! 🎉 You never know what our Lifestyle Director, Jessica is going to have us try these days… and today did NOT disappoint! We gave a brand new version of Twister a try — Twister with beanbags! Instead of stretching and tangling, we spun the wheel and had to throw our beanbags onto the correct colored circle. ➡️ Left hand on red? We had to throw with our left hand and land the beanbag on a red circle that wasn’t already taken! ➡️ Left foot on blue? Then it was time to toss using only our left foot onto a blue spot! And to make it even tougher, we only had three tries to make it happen each time. To make things even more exciting, each round the board moved back one foot, making every throw a little trickier. Just like classic Twister, players were eliminated one by one until only ONE remained. 🥇 Congratulations to our Twister Champion, Carl! We laughed, we cheered, and we loved this new twist on an old favorite!

📸 We Loved Our Visit Day So Much… Here Are MORE Highlights! 📸 We had so many wonderful moments with the 6th graders from St. Robert’s Catholic School that we just had to share more pictures! From our energetic BINGO kickoff to all the hands-on STEM challenges, the creativity and teamwork were nonstop. 🙌🔧✨ These extra snapshots capture even more of the laughter, building, problem-solving, and new friendships that made the day unforgettable. 💛 Thank you again to the St. Robert’s 6th graders—you filled our space with joy, curiosity, and incredible energy!

✨ 6th Graders Visit Day – St. Robert’s Catholic School! ✨ We had the pleasure of welcoming the amazing 6th graders from St. Robert’s Catholic School! We kicked things off with a lively game of BINGO, then jumped right into some hands-on STEM activities together. 🧪🔧 It was such a joy watching everyone create, build, problem solve, and—most importantly—have fun. The teamwork, laughter, and new friendships made the day truly special. 💛 We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to welcome you all back again! 🎉

A huge thank you to ArchWell Health for spoiling us during Happy Hour today! They brought in delicious snacks for everyone to enjoy, and the fun didn’t stop there…
