Recovery isn’t a straight line... and it isn’t instantly intuitive.

Sometimes you’ll think about food more than you expected. Sometimes you’ll need meal structure to feel safe. Sometimes flexibility comes later.

None of this means you’re failing.

Healing your relationship with food takes time, repetition, and support. At Life Cycle Nutrition, we help you build that foundation step by step.

🌿 Think artichokes are just a fancy appetizer? Think again.

These edible flower buds are full of surprises.

They are naturally high in fiber, low in calories, and packed with antioxidants. Artichokes may even support your digestion in ways you wouldn’t expect.

Try them steamed, sautéed, tossed into pasta, or blended into a creamy dip.

Artichokes are easier to use than you think. Use fresh, frozen, or canned 🌿

Recovery can bring up intense waves — before meals, after meals, during body image spirals, or in completely unexpected moments.

The 5-4-3-2-1 grounding exercise is a simple way to gently bring your nervous system back to the present:

-5 things you see
-4 things you feel
-3 things you hear
-2 things you smell
-1 thing you taste

Grounding doesn’t erase the thought. It creates space between you and the thought.

And sometimes, that space is enough to choose your next supportive step.

Save this for when you need it. 🤍

🌟 Nutrition trends in 2026 seem to be focused on what actually works.

Less restriction.
More balance.
Backed by science. 🙌

This year focuses on:
🥩 Protein (still going strong)
🌾 Fiber-rich foods
🧠 Blood sugar balance
🍫 Mood-supporting nutrients
🧃 Functional drinks (with a dose of skepticism)

These aren’t “all or nothing” trends; they're approachable, evidence-based shifts that can actually help you feel better day to day.

While it might not be stated, different body types are often associated with specific personality characteristics in our culture. These associations are misconceptions and contribute to different body types being viewed more negatively or more positively. This is an example of weight stigma.

Eating disorders affect millions of people of all ages, genders, and body sizes... and yet, many are under-diagnosed or misunderstood.

These statistics remind us that EDs don’t discriminate, and weight alone does not tell the whole story. Awareness, early support, and compassionate care save lives.
