It’s disappointing to see Democrat State Rep. Austin Baeth dismiss real dialogue and refuse to engage with actual scientific discussion on this issue. True leadership requires listening, not labeling. It requires courage to examine evidence, not silence opposing views. When elected officials shut down conversation instead of welcoming honest debate, they fail the very people they’re supposed to represent. Science advances through questioning, transparency, and open discourse , not political talking points and intellectual gatekeeping.

Once the government controls your income, what happens when they don’t agree with what you’re saying? Do they just keep paying you while you criticize them? Or do they quietly cut the check, label you a threat, and let you starve in silence as punishment for speaking out? That’s the real danger. Your voice gets bought, then silenced.

God gave us the dignity to work, provide, and stand on our own two feet. No government should ever turn free men into grateful slaves who trade their liberty for a monthly check. Wake up, America.

For too long, we trusted and followed big government advice that pushed foods tied to government subsidies, not health.
