As the holidays approach, many people experience increased stress and exhaustion - even during what’s called “the most wonderful time of the year.”

To help avoid burnout:
🌿 Set Realistic Expectations - You don’t have to do it all. Let go of perfection and focus on what really matters to you and your loved ones.

🌿 Protect Your Energy - It’s okay to say “no” to extra commitments that drain you. Your time and peace are valuable.

🌿 Take Breaks - Rest is productive. Even short pauses throughout the day can reset your mind and body.

🌿 Stick to Your Routine When Possible - Try to keep consistent sleep, meal, and exercise patterns — structure helps reduce stress.

🌿 Ask for Help - You don’t have to manage everything alone. Whether it’s delegating tasks or seeking emotional support, reaching out shows strength.

🌿 Limit Comparison - Social media can make everyone’s holidays look perfect — remember, that’s just the highlight reel. Focus on your own pace and joy.

🌿 Practice Mindfulness - Slow down and be present. Enjoy the small things: a warm drink, a cozy blanket, or laughter with friends.

🌿 Nourish Your Body - Stay hydrated, eat balanced meals, and try not to skip movement. Physical care supports emotional balance.

🌿 Create Boundaries with Family and Work - It’s okay to excuse yourself from stressful conversations or limit after-hours emails. Boundaries protect your wellbeing.

🌿 Schedule Time for Yourself - Do something just for you. Even 10 minutes a day can help recharge your mental energy.

Remember, burnout is preventable when you give yourself permission to rest and reset. If you’ve been feeling emotionally exhausted or overwhelmed, our providers are here to help you find balance and support this season.

🌿 Welcome to the Team! 🌿

We are excited to welcome a new face to our Papillion location!

Please help us give a warm welcome to Bostyn Morse, PLMHP, PLCSW, our newest mental health counselor. With a passion for supporting individuals on their journey to healing and wellness, Bostyn brings compassion, expertise, and a commitment to making a difference in our community. She is currently accepting new clients at our Papillion office.

✨ Get to know Bostyn:

Bostyn is a proud Sacramento, California native with a lifelong passion for mental health and helping others navigate life’s challenges. After attending her local community college, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Psychology from Arizona State University — blending her curiosity about human behavior with her drive to support those in need.

Eager to deepen her impact, Bostyn pursued a Master of Science in Social Work at the University of Southern California, where she specialized in Military Families and Mental Health and Wellness with adult populations. During her graduate training, she gained valuable experience using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Today, Bostyn is passionate about helping her clients better understand their emotions, set meaningful boundaries, and build lives with less stress and more intention. She believes in meeting people where they are, offering a compassionate, supportive space for growth, healing, and self-discovery.

We’re honored to have Bostyn join our team at Complete Behavioral Health, and we can’t wait for you to meet her!

Today, we honor the lives lost, the courage of first responders, and the resilience of a nation forever changed on September 11, 2001.

As we reflect on this day, we hold in our hearts the victims, their families, and all who carry the weight of that tragedy.

May we continue to stand together in remembrance, unity, and hope. 🕊️🇺🇸

✨🖍️ Chalk to Start the Talk 🖍️✨

This week, our team joined the Chalk to Start the Talk initiative in honor of Suicide Prevention Week (September 7–13).

We filled the sidewalks at each of our office locations with messages of hope, encouragement, and support because every conversation matters, and every life matters. By writing these words in chalk, we’re helping break the silence and remind our community that you are not alone. 💙

Let’s keep starting the talk, checking in on one another, and spreading light wherever we go. 🌟

09/09/2025

On (Sept. 10), join NAMI and CEO Dan Gillison for a national moment of silence at 1pm ET.

Together, we’ll honor lives lost to suicide, support those who are struggling, and remind each other that hope and connection are always possible.

💚 You are not alone.

🕊️ Suicide Prevention Week | September 7–13 🕊️

Suicide is a leading cause of death, yet it is often surrounded by silence and stigma. Suicide Awareness matters because when we talk openly about mental health, we create space for hope, connection, and healing. 💜🩵💚

This week is a reminder to:
✨ Check in on your loved ones.
✨ Listen without judgment.
✨ Share resources and support.
✨ Remember that asking for help is a sign of strength.

Together, we can remind one another: you are not alone, your life matters, and your story is still being written.

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available:
📞 Call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

09/06/2025

We are here to remind you that your worth is not measured by how much you get done in a day. Some days are full of checkmarks and accomplishments. Other days, simply getting out of bed is enough.

✨ Productivity does not define you.
✨ Rest is just as valuable as action.
✨ You are worthy, simply because you exist.

Take a breath. Be kind to yourself today. You’re doing better than you think. 💚
