Congratulations to Dr. Abbis Jaffri who is a faculty member at Creighton University Department of Physical Therapy. Dr. Jaffri has been honored as the recipient of the 2025 Margaret L Moore Outstanding New Academic Faculty Award, a highly prestigious national accolade presented by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)! This esteemed award recognizes exceptional physical therapy faculty who demonstrate outstanding academic and research excellence as a new physical therapy faculty. Making history, Dr. Jaffri becomes the first Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions Physical Therapy faculty member at Creighton University to receive this distinguished award, marking a significant milestone for our program. Congratulations to Matt LeMay for graduating with an Undergraduate Degree in Exercise Science and Pre-Health Professions from Creighton University. He has been a valuable member of our research team, working closely with Dr. Hoffman (Rashelle Hoffman) and Dr. Magrini (Mitch Magrini) Matthew has played a pivotal role in our high-intensity interval training (HIIT) study and our hydration and ultrasound study, from data collections, assisting with HIIT sessions, analyzing data, and presenting his work nationally at NSCA! We are excited to see where his career takes him and the positive impact he will have on the world!
