Four years ago, Nick Belgau joined GMP Pros as a Data Engineer.

And he’s never been one to sit quietly in the room.

Nick speaks up. He challenges assumptions. He asks the question everyone else is thinking but hasn’t voiced yet. Not to be contrarian — but to make the work better. Sharper. More honest.

Early on, we saw real depth in him. The kind of technical horsepower paired with curiosity and discipline.

So we made an investment in his growth and supported him as he earned his Master’s in Data Science.

Not because it sounded impressive.
Because we believed it would translate into real value for our clients.

It has.

Nick builds data science systems that tell the story of how operations are truly performing. Not surface-level dashboards. Not noise. Signal. Clarity. Insight leaders can act on.

He’s obsessive in the best way. If a client already has tools inside their tech stack, he will maximize those applications before recommending anything new. No waste. No unnecessary complexity. Just smart optimization that respects the environment he’s working in.

Today, his work supports a global pharmaceutical company, and what he builds positively impacts their global operations.

That’s leverage.
That’s dividends.

Nick, thank you for leaning into growth, raising the level of thinking in every room you’re in, and proving that investing in people pays off.

Four years as a Pro. We’re proud of the bet we made — and even more proud of the return.

Today is International Women’s Day, and I want to recognize someone on our team who represents exactly the kind of leadership and capability this industry needs more of — Catrice Holmes, Project Manager at GMP Pros.

Catrice brings more than a decade of experience navigating the kind of complex, regulated environments that most people only see from the outside. She has worked across global pharmaceutical organizations like Abbott, Novartis, and AbbVie, leading projects, managing cross-functional teams, and driving ex*****on in environments where quality, compliance, and precision matter every single day.

From leading automation projects and coordinating global stakeholders… to driving investigations, managing change control, and ensuring regulatory compliance under FDA quality systems — Catrice knows how to get real work done in real manufacturing environments.

But the thing I admire most about Catrice isn’t just the resume.
She shows up every day with a calm professionalism, a strong sense of accountability, and the ability to bring people together to solve problems. Those are the traits that make great project leaders — and great teammates.

And she does all of that while raising two kids at home.
Anyone who has balanced leadership, career growth, and motherhood knows there is no simple playbook for that. It takes grit, discipline, and a lot of heart.

At GMP Pros we believe great companies are built by great people. Catrice is one of those people.

Today we celebrate her — and the countless women across our industry who are helping build the future of pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Happy International Women’s Day.

GMP Pros' Eric Clark, Justin Tome, and Colton Kulback were at Bio Nebraska's Bio and Beers event this week! 🎉

Bio Nebraska's mission is essentially to grow, connect, and advocate for Nebraska’s bioscience and life sciences industry.

The life sciences industry doesn’t grow by accident. Pharma, biotech, and advanced manufacturing investments tend to cluster in places where the ecosystem is organized, visible, and supported.

Pharma companies don’t evaluate a location based on one factor. They look at the entire environment:

● Universities and research institutions
● Workforce availability
● Manufacturing infrastructure
● Regulatory support
● Suppliers and service partners
● State policy

Leaders like Rob Owen and organizations like Bio Nebraska connect these pieces so the state presents a coherent life sciences ecosystem instead of isolated players.

GMP Pros is proud to be part of that ecosystem. 🪴

During Team Member Appreciation Week, we recognize team members who consistently live the core values that define GMP Pros.

One of those recognitions is the Iron Man Award — and this year the team vote resulted in a tie.

Congratulations to Kyle Swartzendruber and Grant Wallace.

The Iron Man Award is inspired by the endurance and discipline required to complete an Ironman triathlon — a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride, and a full 26.2 mile marathon.

No one finishes that race by accident.

It takes preparation.
Consistency.
Mental toughness.
And the ability to keep moving forward when things get difficult.

That same mindset shows up in the kind of work we value at GMP Pros.

Projects get complex.
Timelines get tight.
Unexpected challenges appear.

The people who make the difference are the ones who stay steady, keep solving problems, support their teammates, and continue pushing toward the finish line.

Kyle and Grant embody that kind of endurance.

They show up consistently, take ownership of the work in front of them, and help their teams move forward even when the road gets long.

That’s what the Iron Man Award represents.

Congratulations to both of them on being recognized by their peers.

Well earned.

If you’ve ever been in the middle of an eBR implementation and felt the wheels start to wobble… you know the signs.

● Designs that don’t align across areas.
● Operators rotating lines asking, “Why does this one look different?”
● Verification spiraling into over-analysis.
● Training compressed into a one-day “show and tell” before go-live.

And suddenly the dashboard says green… but the floor tells a different story.

At Pharma MES 2026, GMP Pros pulling back the curtain.

“The Real eBR Team Members of Pharma: What Actually Happens When the Wheels Come Off”
📅 March 23
⏰ 12:20 p.m.
📍 Encore Boston Harbor

This is a candid, panel-style discussion with the people who’ve lived it — business change leads, technical project managers, and frontline designers who’ve navigated real implementations under real pressure.

We’ll unpack:
● What “off-track” actually looks like (hint: it’s not just schedule or spend)
● How inconsistent design standards create confusion on the floor
● Where verification loses focus — and how to bring it back
● Why business change effort often determines success or failure
● The difference between system awareness and real operator capability
● How dry runs and parallel runs prevent painful surprises at go-live

Electronic batch records aren’t just a technology initiative. They reshape how people work every single day. We’ll share the moments that tested projects — and the practical lessons teams can apply immediately.

If you’re leading, sponsoring, designing, or living through an eBR program, this one will resonate.

See you in Boston.

During Team Member Appreciation Week, we recognize team members who truly live our core values.

This year, Colton Kulback, our Director of Engineering Operations, received the Value People Award.

If you know Colton, this won’t surprise you.

In his role, he manages delivery, margin, risk, timelines — all the hard metrics that keep a professional services firm healthy. But what makes him exceptional isn’t just how he drives ex*****on.

It’s how he leads people while doing it.

He doesn’t hide behind dashboards.
He doesn’t manage from a distance.
He invests in his project managers.
He protects his team from unnecessary noise.
He gives direct feedback — and he does it with respect.

Valuing people doesn’t mean lowering the bar.

It means holding a high bar and walking alongside your team while they reach it.

Colton does that consistently.

In an industry where pressure is constant and timelines are tight, he remembers that the work only works because of the people doing it.

Colton — thank you for leading with both backbone and heart.

Well deserved.

💭 If you’ve spent more than a week in pharma operations, you know this feeling:

You’re staring at a scope that’s changed three times, compliance deadlines breathing down your neck, and leadership asking for "faster, better, cheaper.”

No pressure, right?

Here’s the truth: there’s no magic button. There’s no overnight fix.

But there is a way forward.

At GMP Pros, we’ve built our brand — and our reputation — on tackling the problems most teams avoid until they become crises.

We don’t just map processes — we understand them.
We don’t just check boxes — we solve problems.
We don’t just show up — we own outcomes.

📌 Whether you’re onboarding new tech, navigating audit readiness, or streamlining engineering ex*****on, we show up with clarity, grit, and a commitment to doing what it takes — the right way.

Here’s what that looks like in practice:

🔹 Practical solutions, not slide decks
🔹 Clarity instead of jargon
🔹 Partners who stay when the work gets hard

Because in pharma, “good enough” isn’t good enough — and we get that.

If you’re ready for a partner that treats your challenges like their own, let’s have a real conversation.

Building GMP Pros culture has stretched me in ways I didn’t see coming.

If there’s one lesson that keeps proving itself over time, it’s this: our team has always been our greatest strength.

Not our service lines.
Not our growth rate.
Not even our client list.

Our people.

Over the years, we’ve had exceptional team members move on. One went to Amazon at nearly 2x the salary we were paying. I won’t pretend that didn’t sting a little — but it also made me proud. If someone can double their income because of the skills and confidence they built here, that’s a win.

Others started families and moved out of Nebraska. Priorities shift. Seasons change. That’s life. And we miss them — not in a transactional way, but in a human way. The personalities. The debates. The calm in the chaos.
But here’s the part that means the most to me.

We had one young team member leave to try out the big-company experience. And when he got there, he felt it — what it’s like to be one of thousands. A number. A badge ID.

He called.
He wanted to come back.
And we welcomed him back with open arms.
Not because we were desperate.
Not because we needed a body.
Because he was exceptional. And because culture matters.

There’s something powerful about someone seeing both worlds and choosing yours.

We can’t always compete on salary. We can’t outspend global giants. But we can build a place where people are known, where their work matters, and where they’re treated like adults with ownership — not headcount.

That’s the kind of company we’re committed to building at GMP Pros. One where if someone leaves to grow, we cheer for them.

And if they come back, it’s because they know what we have here is real.

Five years ago, Lisa Marie Martin joined GMP Pros as our Senior Recruiter.

And from day one, she made something very clear:

People aren’t transactions. They’re human beings.

She personally called applicants.
She kept them informed.
She treated every single person with respect — whether we hired them or not.

That matters.

Because how you treat people when you don’t “need” them says everything about who you are as a company.

Lisa Marie set the tone for how we care for our team. And that tone stuck.

Her care and support became legendary — not because she was loud about it, but because she was consistent about it.

Today, she serves as our Culture and Team Resources Specialist — which honestly feels like a natural evolution. She’s still doing what she’s always done: valuing people first.

Five years is no small thing in a growing company. It means you’ve weathered change. You’ve adapted. You’ve built trust.

Lisa Marie, thank you for helping us build a place where people feel seen, supported, and respected.

We’re better because you’re here.

Happy 5 years as a Pro. 💛
