We enjoyed a delightful day at the lake recently with our sister communities! Six Heritage Communities convened at Lake Wanahoo for refreshments, bingo, games, lunch, and boat rides. Our sincere appreciation to Live Well. Go Fish! for orchestrating such a successful day of community collaboration.

Happy Earth Day from Heritage Communities! 🌍 Whether it's tending a garden, enjoying a nature walk, or simply opening the windows and letting the spring air in… every little act of appreciation for our planet matters.

Here are a few of our favorite ways to celebrate with the seniors in your life:

- Start a small container garden on a porch or patio
- Share a favorite nature memory over a cup of coffee
- Take a walk and collect interesting leaves, flowers, or rocks
- Donate gently used items together to reduce waste
- Bird watch from a window or outdoor chair

Religious observance is a significant element in the lives of the residents. Commemorating Christ's Passion, residents participated in The Way of the Cross, a prayerful reflection on Jesus' journey to Calvary and his Crucifixion.

These gentlemen might be considered "old fashioned", but Heritage Communities thinks they are "aged to perfection"! 🥃 Our men's club (including Heritage communities in the metro) got together last week to enjoy some old fashioneds and comraderie. We sure do enjoy getting these guys together for a good time!
