We’re having some fun this week across our campuses as we celebrate Spirit Week in recovery.

Today’s theme was “Teaming Up Against Addiction” (Sports Day/March Madness) and staff and patients showed their support by wearing their favorite sports apparel as we team up against addiction.

Stay tuned for tomorrow’s theme – Tuesday, March 17: “Sobriety isn’t about missing out… it’s about showing up.” It’s St. Patrick’s Day, so wear your green. Green isn’t just for the Irish—it also represents mental health awareness. Join us as we celebrate recovery and raise awareness for substance use disorder and mental health.

We had an incredible evening bringing together our Valley Hope community at the Pro Volleyball match. A total of 27 alumni and 69 family members, friends, and staff joined us as the Omaha Supernovas set a new pro volleyball attendance record of 16,838 fans in an exciting five-set win over Indy Ignite.

One alumni shared that the night would not have been possible without Valley Hope—not just the event itself, but the recovery and support that made moments like this possible. Seeing alumni surrounded by their kids, grandkids, spouses, and friends enjoying the evening together was truly special.

It was a powerful reminder that recovery creates space for connection, community, and experiences like these. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a memorable night.
