Today I (Ashley the owner :) ) had a conversation with an amazing human that stopped me in my tracks.
A customer asked me: "So, is this just a business concept, or a passion?"
First off, I can't thank them enough for asking. I get wrapped up in the day-to-day. I work 70 hours a week, I get stressed, and I get tired. But the answer?
It's passion. Pure passion.
I live and eat by the same guidelines and standards that you see at That Healthy Place.
No gluten, no seed oils, no dairy, no soy, no artificial ingredients, no food dyes, no chemicals, and using herbs to heal.
I used to have health issues, I used to be tired 24/7, my body used to hurt, the list went on .... I got tired of living this way at a young age, and doctors told me I was fine.
I was not fine. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Something inside me pulled me to change. I thought there might be something to this healthy eating thing. I started with very small changes and noticed major differences.
I started getting curious about the why. Why was this working, and what was my body doing? This became an obsession, and I was in complete amazement that the earth could provide everything I needed to be a superhuman.
I wanted other people to feel this because it truly is unbelievable how changing what you eat can quite literally save your life.
No way in heck could I do everything I do if I put low-quality garbage in my body.
So I started a health coaching business, and boy, did that take off. I coached people on how to eat correctly and move their bodies. They were healing, they finally had energy, they finally felt like a human. I've seen so many lives and families change because of food.
My most asked question in coaching was "Where can I go out to eat and what can I order?"
My answer back then? Nowhere. I've worked in restaurants for over 15 years, and I was never impressed by the ingredients.
Paying money to feel like trash garbage? No thanks.
So here we are. That Healthy Place exists because I wanted to do things differently. I wanted to show you that there is more to your health than you even know is possible.
That's what you are getting when you walk through our doors. Not just a concept, but pure passion. Passion to show people the change food can make in their lives.
