🚨 Do you know the difference between 211, 911, and 988? Each number is important, but they serve very different needs here in Wisconsin:

📞 911 – Call if there is a life-threatening emergency and you need police, fire, or medical help immediately.
📞 988 – Call or text if you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or emotional distress. You’ll be connected with the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline for support.
📞 211 – Call if you need help finding local resources such as food, housing, financial assistance, or community services.

Each number connects you to support when you need it most. 💜 Remember—you’re never alone.

988 Day is happening on September 8 (9/8) — a national Day of Action centered around the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. This annual event is all about spreading awareness, reducing stigma, and reminding everyone that Compassionate Help. Anytime. Anywhere. is just a call, text, or chat away.

In Wisconsin, 988 Day is even more special:
- This is the second annual 988 Day, with the theme “Compassionate Help. Anytime. Anywhere.”

- The Lifeline offers 24/7 access to bilingual counselors, with interpretation services in over 240 languages and dialects—so everyone can be heard, understood, and supported.
