One of my trimming clients reached out and asked me to do a massage on their gelding. they said he seemed kinda off and stiff in the back end and not really fully extending in his strides. And when they lunged the him it would dip down in the hip area on the one side. When I was doing my examine before the massage I found the area right before the butt and hip area to be sore, there also was a few knots along his back. I did do a full body massage but paid some extra attention to the problem areas. After the massage we found his muscles to be more relaxed and not so tight. The gelding was also not standing so camped, had more of a wide and natural stance. Also the dip in his stride also has gotten better.
Here are some before and after photos. The before pictures are the ones where the horse is standing on gravel and the after the horse is standing on grass.
