Memorial Day – Monday, May 25

On Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

MLHS Family Medicine Clinics and the Isle Pharmacy will be closed for the holiday. The Onamia Pharmacy will have limited hours from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Urgent Care in Onamia will be open from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. The Emergency Department remains open 24/7.

We hope everyone has a safe Memorial Day weekend.

💚 May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health is an important part of overall wellness and affects people of all ages. Throughout May, Mille Lacs Health System employees are wearing green-ribbon t-shirts each Friday to help raise awareness and encourage conversations around mental health in our communities.

Through this year’s fundraiser, MLHS employees raised $1,245 to support Smiles for Jake, a su***de prevention movement focused on spreading positivity and encouraging supportive actions within communities.

Behavioral health support, including psychology and telehealth psychiatry services, is available through Mille Lacs Health System. Talking about mental health and seeking support are important parts of caring for overall well-being.

Diabetes Support Group – Thursday, May 28

Illness can make diabetes more difficult to manage. Join us for this month’s Diabetes Support Group session focused on diabetic sick days, including when to check for ketones, what supplies to keep on hand, and how to prepare for illness while living with diabetes.
