Meet Sheena! 🌿🌟

Sheena is a Registered Nurse on our Medical/Surgical unit at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. Next month she will be celebrating 20 years here at Riverside!

She started her journey with us at a rehabilitation center and during her time there she held many positions including CNA, LPN, Unit Secretary, PCA, Registered Nurse, night shift Supervisor, and then a Unit Manager. When that facility went through a transition, she knew she wanted to stay on the Riverside team.

When Sheena joined the Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital team, she knew she wanted to be here for the rest of her nursing career, "My co-workers are friendly and support an excellent working environment. Team members work together to provide excellent patient care!"

She truly exemplifies our mission. "I continue offering support and care to patients and their families even after they are discharged from the hospital," she says. "My love and kindness are free. I always provide the best care possible to each patient as if they are my own family member."

Having had numerous Champion of Caring nominations throughout her years of service, everyone can agree that the Riverside Care Difference is something Sheena takes to heart. She was recognized as Champion of the Year in 2020 at the hospital.

NeuroConnections is a FREE support group hosted by Riverside for people with brain injury or neurodegenerative disease and for their family and caregivers.
Next meeting is Thursday, Feb. 26 at 2pm in the Shore Cafe at RSMH. Join us for a talk on the Brain and Heart Connection, and find support from others who understand.
