Children are untarnished by the critical eye of judgement. They are uninfluenced by societies prevailing ideals of ageing and motherhood and beauty

They see us through a lens of creativity and love. They compare us to their favourite things. They see our physical self as a presence representing comfort and safety and warmth and affection.

We all need to start seeing ourselves through the eyes of those who love us the most.

Major trigger warning!!

My job, and passion, isn’t to put down formula or shove breastfeeding in your life.

It’s to educate you, so that no matter what decision YOU decide is best for YOUR FAMILY, is a safe and supported one!

That being said....just BOIL THE DAMN WATER. Whether you’re supplementing or exclusively formula feeding, boil. the. water. Tap water, distilled water, nursery water, well water, filtered water, it’s not the water.... it’s the 🗣powder infant formula.

Water NEEDS TO BE 70C/158F to ensure the powder formula is SAFE FOR FEEDING.

By simply preparing powder infant formula as directed by WHO, you could be saving your babies life.

No matter what choice you’re leaning towards, if you or any expectants in your life have ANY questions on ALL FORMS of SAFE feeding....PLEASE REACH OUT!

So, it’s come to my attention that SOOOO many people (especially locals!) don’t know what a doula is/does! Let’s change that!! Living on the Eastern Shore is like having the best, most close knit village possible. Image if we had that much support as women to have the best, most empowered birth experiences and and continue to grow The Shore and all its glory?! THAT’S👏🏼MY👏🏼GOAL👏🏼! This super awesome article is-so far- the best at describing my passion & job as a doula! I AM HERE FOR YOU! ✨

A doula can be an invaluable resource during labor to provide support and comfort measures and reduce the rates of complications & c-section

I was inspired to learn & dive into doula work to encourage, empower, and support women to find their divine feminine and watch how strong, wild, primal, & nurturing we actually are.

I believe when we give birth we surrender our bodies to the universe, our ancestors gather around to welcome & heal our souls while also revealing the secrets of our strength and dedication to our babies, bodies, & life itself.

So here’s to a new beginning & following all of my wildest dreams. I hope you’re ready for an adventure of a lifetime, beautiful beings! 👑✨ @ Washington D.C.
