It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dr. Dean of Dean & Associates, who served as Medical Director of Burgess Mental Health Services for nearly 30 years.

Dr. Dean dedicated his life to helping others through compassionate mental health care and made a lasting impact on so many individuals and families throughout the region.

Burgess Mental Health is proud to provide specialized services to meet the growing needs of Monona County and surrounding communities. Our dedicated team includes 8 therapists, 2 BHIS workers, 1 CSS worker, 1 part-time hospice worker, 2 office assistants, and 2 psychiatric providers contracted through Dean and Associates and we continue to grow!

Dr. Flynn specializes in medication management for children as young as 3 years old and also provides autism and ADHD testing. Our therapists are specially trained in more than 12 evidence-based therapies, including Couples Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), OCD Exposure Therapy, Brain Training, and much more.

What does that mean for our community?
Because Burgess has its own Community Mental Health Center, funding is available to help expand services, provide advanced staff training, and offer reduced-cost or free services to those in need.
