Rose Bath Ritual
I love roses 🌹 admiring each stage, including spring growth and budding, summer bloom and release.
Rose offers powerful medicine in her pedals, seeds and hips that I enjoy using as face water, tea, oils and powder.
On a spiritual level I personally associate the rose with many goddesses, saints, and of course,
Our Lady.
These past few weeks I have been saving fallen petals from my garden, beautiful colors of blush, pink, red, peach and cream to grind for the body and rituals.
Here is a bath ritual to try when you would like to connect to mother rose, the earth and your femininity:
Instructions 🌹
Gather your roses and mix with coconut oil and honey to make a body scrub to your own desired texture
Set the mood with candles, no distractions and possibly some music
After you have prepared your hot bath, sprinkle epsom salts in the water to ground and aid in cleansing, then Rub the prepared mixture all over your body, face and feet. It will be delightfully messy.
Take the time to connect to the goddess or Saint you feel called to while you soak in the rose water.
An example could be Virgin Mary, white rose, innocence, youth and purity, Mother Mary pink rose, motherhood, femininity, sensuality, Mary Magdalene red rose, crone energy and wisdom.
Welcome any feelings or sensations that may arise during your rose bath.
When ready, drain the water, rinsing the remaining rose mixture off your body, thank your goddesses, give appreciation to the rose, honeybees, and water.
Wipe your messy tub, mother rose has your back by cleaning off very easily, knowing that no one likes a hard to clean mess.
Reap the benefits of silky skin, a bright heart and connected soul.
