I am hoping to take on a more full-time approach to teaching yoga in the upcoming months of Fall 2026!

It would mean a lot to me if you follow along here to help me prepare to follow and grow that desire to serve more fully!

I've been envisioning new classes, series, and workshop experiences to share with you this year and want to co-create more space for community and practices.

Bloom Yoga & Wellness will remain my home base for teaching but I'm looking to expand reach and spread yoga where needed and called.

If you are within either of the categories and following me please comment in response to my inquiries below!

To my current & future students: What would you like to see more of for available classes and shared yoga practices? I'm open to receive any suggestions or even personal requests specific to you!

To potential teaching collaboration/opportunities: Is there a yoga studio, wellness locations, recurring or one time event/experience, youth-focused, recovery-focused, corporate wellness, virtual, or any place, any format ~ weekly, monthly, quarterly where I might be just the right fit to serve the need of a community?

Sadly there wasn't enough interest for me to run the Introductory Yoga for Every Body series but that doesn't mean you still can't come and practice with whenever your schedule allows!

I will try to offer it again in September for those wanting a more beginner-focused practice but all of my classes are always intended to be accessible to people of all different levels and experience!

This coming week you have double the chances to practice with me since it's my turn to teach for the last Saturday of May & I'll also be subbing for Sunday's Yin & Meditation.

This week's class opportunities:

Gentle Tuesday 10:15-11:15a
Thursday Yin 5:00-6:00pm
All levels Saturday 9:00-10:15am
Sunday Yin & Meditation 11:00-12:00pm

A 6-Week Beginner-Friendly Yoga Series with Shailene

Curious about starting yoga but unsure where to begin?
Returning after time away or since healing from an injury?

If you are looking for a slower, supportive space to ground and reconnect with your body and breath then this is for you.

This 6 week series is designed to create a welcoming and accessible environment where we can gently build confidence, explore foundational practices, and move at a comfortable pace together.

Throughout our time together, we’ll focus on cultivating:
✨ Balance
✨ Strength
✨ Stress Relief
✨ Relaxation
✨ Inner Peace

This series is beginner-friendly and adaptable for a variety of bodies, abilities, and experience levels. Whether you are brand new to yoga or simply seeking a softer re-entry into practice, you are welcome here. Come as you are.

With an emphasis on the sensations of breath and body awareness, paired with an inward focus, we promote meditative yoga to support and balance all beings in Mind, Body, and Spirit.

These practices help enhance physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing in a grounded and accessible way.
