Our youth are the future of the Oneida Nation. This Public Health Week 2026, we’re raising awareness about va**ng prevention and supporting young people in making healthy, informed choices.

Va**ng can impact growing brains and long-term health—but knowledge, culture, family, belonging and community connections are powerful protective factors. Together, we can create environments where our youth feel supported, strong, and empowered to live commercial to***co and vape-free lives.
Let’s work together to protect their health today, and for generations to come.

Tuesday March 24th Tribal Dementia Care Specialist Debbie Miller collaborated with staff from Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center to hold a community event "Healthy Minds for Seven Generations A gathering on Brain Health, Memory, and Wellness." There were resource tables, Dr. Megan Zuelsdorf presented “Strong Ties, Strong Mind: Connections protect the Body and Brain” and memory screens were offered. We had a great meal provided by Off the Trail. It was a fun and educational event.
