Being chosen to close out a statewide conference speaks volumes as this role is reserved for leaders who inspire, challenge, and shape the future of public health practice.

This recognition also highlights the division's commitment to advancing community health, fostering collaboration, and driving meaningful change across Wisconsin.

In observance of Oneida Nation Code Talkers Day, the Oneida Comprehensive Health Division will be closed Friday, May 22 as we honor the legacy of these extraordinary veterans.

During World War II, Oneida Nation Code Talkers used their language as an unbreakable code to transmit critical military information, helping protect troops and secure victory. Their courage, intelligence, and dedication played a vital role in history and continue to inspire generations.

Today, we remember and honor each of our Oneida Nation Code Talkers:

The grand opening ceremony for the smudging room at the Anna John Resident Centered Care Community (AJRCCC) on Wednesday, May 13. This project was led by our 2025 summer interns, who helped restore a space that honors culture, reflection, and holistic wellness as an essential part of care for residents and families of AJRCCC.
