Congratulations to Brittany Riso, Care Manager Supervisor, on their recent graduation!

Last month, Britt graduated from SUNY Binghamton’s Master of Social Work (MSW) program. As a member of the intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) community, this was a meaningful personal and professional step in her life. For Britt, the passion was always there to provide equitable and informed support; in their words, “I knew I needed the education and training to match my passion.”

This rewarding experience means that Britt feels more prepared to blend her lived experience with formal training to be a strong advocate for the disability community and care coordination managers (CCM) that Britt supports every day.

Thank you, Britt, for your continued work in providing high-quality, person-centered services to the people STC supports!

STC is affiliated with the New York State Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and collaborates with a network of highly respected service providers to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) access the supports and services they need.

Norwich and Binghamton offices gifted holiday cheer to children this season!

Both offices ran a Toys for Tots drive, asking their communities to donate toys for children who may not receive many toys this Christmas, and received an incredible outpouring of support!

Thank you to everyone who helped STC make the holidays more merry and bright for local children!

CCM Joanna Jackson recently visited Jonah and Julien for a festive LifePlan meeting!

After finishing the meeting, Joanna joined the twins outside to make snow angels and have a snowball fight! Jonah and Julien enjoy moments like these safely outside, thanks to the support of Joanna. In 2023, the family received a fence in their yard that was funded through EMOD.
