Stress can affect more than just your mood. It can impact sleep, energy, and even physical health. Taking time to care for your mental well-being is an important part of staying healthy.

This Stress Awareness Month, our care teams encourage everyone to pause and take a moment for themselves. A short walk, deep breathing, spending time with loved ones, or simply stepping away from a busy day can make a real difference.

What helps you manage stress or recharge during the week? Share your favorite tips in the comments and help others in our community find healthy ways to relax.

Volunteers bring warmth, kindness, and compassion into hospitals every day.

Across the country, millions of volunteers give their time to support patients, families, and healthcare teams. In hospitals, their presence can make a meaningful difference by offering comfort, guidance, and a friendly face when it matters most.

This National Volunteer Month, we celebrate the individuals who generously share their time and energy to serve our community.

If you know one of our volunteers or have been helped by one during a visit, share a message of appreciation in the comments.

St. Mary’s Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, has been recognized nationally for excellence in emergency care, earning a 4-Star Top Performer designation for Overall Emergency Department Care and an Award of Distinction from Professional Research Consultants.

From moments of urgency to times of uncertainty, the Emergency Department team is committed to providing care that is not only timely and effective but also compassionate and respectful.
