This is what the Morning Pointe Top Chef Challenge is all about. 🍽️🔥

In the Cumberland Nashville-area Region, the competition goes beyond the plate. It’s the creativity, the pride, and the heart each Food Service Director brings into every dish that is served to our residents.

It’s also the shared experience, the judges’ perspectives, the conversations, and the energy in the room that make each round memorable.

Congratulations to Caletta Alsup, Food Service Director at Morning Pointe of Brentwood, for earning the top spot with her Chicken Monterey. 👏

👏 Second Place: Jamie Rutherford — Morning Pointe of Spring Hill — Mama’s Potato Soup
👏 Third Place: Eric Harshfield — Morning Pointe of Louisville — Hawaiian Sliders

Only one more competition until the finals.

There’s something powerful about simply showing up. 🤝

During Volunteer Appreciation Week, we’re taking a closer look at the impact of giving your time, especially in a senior living setting. At Morning Pointe Senior Living, we see every day how connection, conversation, and presence can make a difference in ways you can’t always measure.

It’s not about having a plan or a special skill. It’s about being there, and often walking away with more than you expected.

Hear directly from volunteers and even residents who choose to serve others, sharing what it means to them and why they keep coming back.

Sunshine on the patio, a walk outside, time in the garden, and a connection to nature that brings comfort and familiarity, along with memories tied to seasons that have come and gone. At Morning Pointe Senior Living, these everyday moments are part of what makes each day meaningful. 🌿
