A little dirt, a little color, and a lot of creativity 🌸🦋

It’s been a beautiful mix of hands-on fun and artistic expression. Residents spent time planting African violets, getting their hands in the dirt and enjoying every moment. A big thank you to the African Violet Society of America, Inc., for providing supplies and sharing the afternoon with us.

The creativity continued as residents made bright, beautiful butterflies with the help of our Business Office Manager, Ashley. These now decorate doors throughout the community, adding a cheerful touch for everyone to enjoy.

Activities like these are more than just a way to pass the time. They’re a meaningful part of art therapy, offering opportunities to create, connect, and express at any level. Whether planting, crafting, or simply enjoying the process, these moments bring a sense of purpose and joy to each day. 🎨💛

A day filled with music, smiles, and special connections. 🎶🤍

We were so glad to have visits from both Collegedale Academy kindergarten students and OAKS - Ooltewah Adventist School students throughout the day.

The morning began with worship and hymns, where the sweet voices of the kindergarteners filled the room with joy. Later, the smiles continued as OAKS students joined us for an afternoon of laughter, singing, and time spent together.

It was a day full of happiness and meaningful moments shared across generations.

After more than a decade of caring for our residents, today we say goodbye to someone who has truly been part of our family. 💙

Greg Joyner has served Morning Pointe of Greenbriar Cove Assisted Living with compassion, consistency, and a genuine heart for others. As a Nurse Practitioner, his care went far beyond the clinical. He built trust, formed meaningful relationships, and made a lasting difference in the lives of our residents, their families, and our team.

We are so grateful for the years he has poured into this community. He will be deeply missed, but his impact will be felt for a long time to come.

A special thank you to Local Beard for helping us celebrate Greg with a thoughtful gift. It meant so much to be able to honor him in such a meaningful way.

A room full of smiles and a little Easter magic 🎨🐰💛

Our paint and sip Easter fun day brought residents and families together for a joyful time filled with creativity, laughter, and sweet moments shared side by side. From painting to celebrating the season, it was such a special way to spend time together.

And of course, Elmer the bunny made it even better. He brought so much fun, smiles, and laughter to the room, and our residents absolutely loved every minute with him 🐣✨
