Congratulations to Breunna Posley, Social Services Assistant, for winning our Whatever it Takes Champion Award! 🎉
Breunna was nominated by a teammate with the following: "A resident was admitted for skilled care and was not initially adjusting well to the facility; he had many fears and was displaying a lot of depression. Breunna took time out of each morning to check in with him and sit and talk with him until he felt safe and adjusted. ☺️ She realized he was also not eating much due to his increased depression and anxiety and went out of her way to bring him bowls of fruit daily. She wanted no recognition but wanted to make sure someone felt cared for and safe. His CNAs realized he was finally eating and couldn't figure out who was bringing him the fruit; I asked her out of curiosity and she said, 'I am, but it's no big deal.' If my loved one was in a facility for skilled rehab I would want someone like her taking the time out of her day to make them feel safe and at ease. She is truly a special person." 💛

Great job, Breunna! We are so proud to have you on our care team! 👏

Physical and occupational therapists worked with Mary to reach her goals, and she shared, "I want to thank the staff and especially Nicole and Stacy for their care. I have become friends with Brandi, Elaine and several other CNAs."
