In 2005, Pastor Mark Finley and a group of doctors and medical students met to discuss their burden to share Christ in their workplace. It was out of this thoughtful discussion that an organization called AMEN (Adventist Medical Evangelism Network) was founded. From its inception, AMEN hosted annual conferences in which mission-minded medical professionals gathered to share and learn about how to
be Christ-centered and led in their occupations. By God’s grace and by the willingness of its members, AMEN has flourished to become much more than just a conference. For the past three years, AMEN has flung open all doors to what it means to be a Christ-led medical professional. Now, AMEN deploys free dental, medical, and vision clinics in cities in need all across the United States of America. After coordinating and leading over forty large and small-scale mobile clinics, AMEN has an even bigger vision to help spread this free clinic ministry all across the NAD to churches big and small.
