The Home of the Nazarene is a faith based drug abuse program. This program centers around individuals who need Gods mercy in their lives. Human beings from any race, s*x or religion suffer from all types of worldly influences. When we as humans are most lost and don’t have the proper instinct to pursue Gods divine life lessons, we make mistakes by accepting or forcing ourselves to do things which physically and mentally hurt us, Such as addictions. Addictions may bring us temporary relief from the truth or growing pains which give us experience in this life but, it doesn’t mean anything if we don’t put Jesus Christ in our life first.

History

The Home of the Nazarene has been serving the community for the last 20 years. Hundreds of students have been in our program. Over 600 have graduated and 90 percent are persevering in their new lives. For example, some are Pastors, administrators, businessmen and very proficient employees.

Home Of The Nazarene

“Giving hope for tomorrow for the afflicted today.”

The Home of the Nazarene offers hope to the hopeless. The drug user has to have to desire to stop taking drugs. It is necessary for them to be productively living drug free and live in Jesus Christ. The Home of the Nazarene gives them the solution. We are not just any other program. Our program is based on the word of God. We teach them how to be completely free from the dependency of drugs and alcohol and other life controlling issues.

Phase #1

The disciples begin with bible studies and character reinforcement courses. They also participate in-group studies such as dealing with temptation, attitudes, and anger management. They attend individual and group counseling. Along side as attending our regular church services.

Phase #2

Students are required to participate in Christian living courses such as Old Testament survey, parenting, and self-improvement classes. These training’s encourage emotional wholeness, goal setting and job preparedness.

Phase #3

This process provides housing, personal and family counseling as well as assistance in finding employment. Students can go to work and return to the home.

Financial Support

One of the ways our ministry has become self-sustaining is through creative fundraising and job training courses. This allows the students to train in professions with numerous participating local businesses. These corporations are committed to assisting the students in obtaining their goals of being productive members of our society.
