UHI offers a wide range of services from primary care to various specialties, in addition to labwork taken in the clinic and sent out to be processed. The clinic aims to help people in need in the most efficient way since the majority of the patients at are hardworking people without any public healthcare or medical insurances. Their income excludes them from receiving government assistance, yet prohibits them from affording private healthcare or insurance. Without the help of the UHI CommunityCare Clinic, these uninsured residents would turn to emergency rooms for non-emergent care, at a great cost to themselves and the healthcare system.
