The EAMC Foundation is looking for an Operations Coordinator to support our mission of advancing high quality and compassionate healthcare in our community.

This role oversees the daily operations of the Foundation office, ensuring gifts are processed with the highest standards, donors are stewarded thoughtfully, and events are seamlessly executed. You’ll also help develop innovative fundraising strategies and work with donor management platforms like Bloomerang, One Cause, and Donor Drive.

✅ Minimum Requirements: Associate’s degree + 1–3 years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s degree & 3–5 years preferred).

Earlier today, we proudly unveiled a commemorative plaque in honor of Judy H. Jackson, the founding director of the East Alabama Medical Center Foundation. Judy led the Foundation with unmatched dedication for its first 20 years, retiring in 2007. Her visionary leadership and passion for service laid the groundwork for everything the EAMC Foundation has become today.

Under Judy’s guidance, the Foundation launched numerous impactful fundraising initiatives—efforts that directly supported patient care, advanced technology, and facility improvements across our health system. One of her most enduring legacies is the creation of the beloved Christmas Ball (formerly known as the EAMC Foundation Gala), which continues to bring our community together in the spirit of generosity and celebration each year.

The strength and success of the Foundation today are a direct result of Judy’s commitment, heart, and belief in the power of philanthropy. We are deeply grateful for her lasting impact and are proud to honor her legacy for generations to come!
