Over the weekend, I worked on a presentation surrounding mental wellness and the importance of self-care. During the section on “Setting Boundaries,” I came to the harsh realization that I struggle in that area.
Last night, I decided to cut off some people and things, recognize my limits, and move on accordingly.

A great friend once told me that stress will put you in the hospital and while you’re down, everything else will keep moving. Sooooo, if you’re dealing with a person (family member or not) who won’t change, a situation that you can’t control, workplace drama, overextending yourself, or whatever it may be, it’s time to pivot!

1. Recognize your limits
2. Communicate clearly
3. Learn to say NO confidently
4. Maintain consistency
