Hello everyone! We hope this finds you well. We are all well here at AFC. We just wanted to let you know about a few things.

1. As of today, we are changing our hours of operation. We will still open at 7:45 a.m. but we are now closing at 2:30 p.m. everyday. Once the CDC, WHO and the government calls an end to all quarantine measures, we will return to our normal hours. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are doing this for your safety and the safety of our employees and their families.

2. We are still seeing patients, but if you are experiencing the following symptoms, please do not come into our office!
*COUGH
*FEVER
*SHORTNESS OF BREATH
*ANY COLD/FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS
If you are sick, have been sick, or have been around anyone who is/has been sick; please STAY HOME! Call our office to reschedule your appointment. We are mentioning this because we have had a few patients show up for appointments that should have remained at home.

3. If you are coming for an appointment and you feel uncomfortable sitting in the waiting room, you may stay in your vehicle. Just call the front desk (334-741-7600) to let them know you are here. We will call your phone when it's your time to be seen. Also, we have masks and hand sanitizer available for your use.

Thank you to all our patients for your understanding and co-operation during this time. We pray you and your family will be safe and well!

ATTENTION: PATIENTS OF ALABAMA FOOT CARE

In light of the recent COVID-19 developments, our team at Alabama Foot Care Center has developed a plan to ensure the safety of our patients and staff while continuing to provide quality healthcare for your feet. As of now, our office will remain open and will see patients at their regularly scheduled times. Please note the following added precautions we will be implementing:
• Please call our office to reschedule your appointment if you are sick, have been sick or have knowingly come into contact with someone who is sick.
• Please limit the number of people you bring with you to your appointment. One family member/caretaker per patient, if possible.
• We are increasing our sanitizing procedures. All hard surfaces, door handles, light switches, patient bathroom and the waiting room will be cleaned and sanitized at regular intervals. Patient rooms, exam chairs and x-ray machine will be sanitized between each patient. Please be aware that this extra care may cause a slight delay, but we will get you to an exam room as soon as possible.
• Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided in the waiting area. Please make use of them.
• Our personnel that work in direct contact with patients will wear gloves and/or masks. This for your protection as well as ours. Please do not be offended.
• We will be vigilant to abide by the CDC and WHO recommended infection control guidelines.
Our top priority will always be to provide quality foot care while focusing on the overall health and well-being of our Alabama Foot Care family. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we do our part to combat the spread of COVID-19. This continues to be a fluid situation, and we will update you of any changes in the days and weeks to come. As always, please reach out to us if you have questions or concerns.
