Good afternoon to all!! I am currently working on our summer schedule and we are filling up fast! The Cerebral Palsy Clinic offers an eight-week program over the summer and we already have a waiting list in some areas. We will be providing therapy to over 40 individuals this summer!! That is why your donation is so important to us. Our summer program costs the CP Clinic about $15,000 each year. Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025. That is the date for our next "Breakfast with Santa" fundraiser and the funds raised at this event pay for services throughout the year. We accept donations any time of the year but we especially encourage you to donate and attend our wonderful breakfast at the Steamboat Warehouse in Washington. Please call the clinic if your child is in need of services. You can leave a message at 337-942-3648 or email me at crbrlpls1192@gmail.com

I had the pleasure of visiting with the 2025 senior class of Berchmans Academy this morning. I brought donuts for them to have as a thank-you for all their help with our "Breakfast with Santa" fundraiser in December. They helped us dismantle tents and load chairs and serve plates and anything else we needed. We were so blessed to have them help us that day!!! Thanks again to all of you for all your help!!! It is greatly appreciated!!

How Our Clinic Came to Exist

The Opelousas Area Cerebral Palsy Clinic was founded in 1958 by Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fields, parents of a child with cerebral palsy. The building was built by area merchants and citizens who donated time and labor for its completion. The Clinic has been providing physical therapy treatments for area children and adults with cerebral palsy, free of charge, for over sixty (60) years.
