Posting again to make everyone aware that the CP Clinic is in need of hiring an occupational therapist for our summer session that begins in June. We have an eight week summer program and we are in need of an occupational therapist from 9am to 5pm on Tuesdays. Please share this with anyone you know who might be interested. We had the pleasure of accepting a donation check from Zavier Bolden and his family yesterday!! The donation was for $800!!!! Zavier and his family participated in an Autism Walk on Saturday, April 25th presented by RBS and IOTA XI SIGMA of PHI BETA SIGMA. The weather was rainy, but they persevered and raised $800 and donated it to the Cerebral Palsy Clinic!!! Thank you all so much for your generous donation!! We greatly appreciate it!!!

The Opelousas Area Cerebral Palsy Clinic is in need of an occupational therapist for the summer. We are a non-profit clinic that provides free therapy services to individuals with special needs. We host an eight week summer session and our regular OT will be out for medical reasons. The clinic is open on Tuesdays and we would need someone from 8:30 to 5pm, if possible. We are open to fewer hours if that is all you can do. We would like to be able to provide OT services to as many patients as possible. Please message me or call 337-351-0712 if you have any questions or need more information. This is a paid position and you must be a licensed occupational therapist to fill this position. Good morning!! Dropping off lots of cardboard to the St. Landry Parish Recycling Center. Go by and bring all your recyclables and leave them in our name. The proceeds will go to the CP Clinic! Every little bit helps!!

THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! I wish I knew how to say this word in many different languages. Maybe then I could adequately express the gratitude I have for all our donors! We received the best gift ever this morning! A $1000 donation that put us over our goal! What an absolutely fantastic way to start this year and close out "Breakfast with Santa!!!" Thank you for helping us provide free therapy services to individuals with special needs. Thank you all again for supporting us and believing in the work we do!! Great news still coming in!!! We received another $100 towards our $50,000 "Breakfast with Santa" fundraising goal!! That leaves us with $703 left to go to reach $50,000!! Please consider sending in a donation to help the Cerebral Palsy Clinic fulfill its mission to the community. We provide free therapy services to individuals with special needs. We are so close to reaching our goal and this money helps us to provide services all year long. Thank you so much for all the support!!!

We are doing this!! We received $250.00 since my last post which puts our total at $49, 197.82!! That is $803 dollars away from our $50,000 goal!!! I wish there were more ways to say thank you!! We greatly greatly appreciate all the support we have received with our "Breakfast with Santa" fundraiser!!!! Hello to all!! What a year 2025 has been and 2026 is off to a fantastic start!! We are so fortunate to be loved and supported by so many generous donors in the community. We are still receiving donations in the mail and I am thrilled to announce that the Cerebral Palsy Clinic has collected $48,947.82 as of today for our "Breakfast with Santa" fundraiser. We are $1052.18 away from our goal of $50,000!! What an accomplishment!! We are so thankful to all of you for being so generous and supportive of our mission. We are so close to our goal and can't wait to get back into a regular routine providing therapy and support to so many families in our community.

We are so excited to announce that the Cerebral Palsy Clinic got second place in the 2025 Evangeline Downs "Trees for Hope" competition. That means we can add $2500 to our fundraising totals for the year!!!! Many thanks to Evangeline Downs for hosting this event and for all those who took the time to go and vote!! Hello to all!! This is a reminder that voting for "Trees of Hope" at Evangeline Downs ends Friday, Dec. 12. Please go by the casino and cast your ballot for the Cerebral Palsy Clinic. Any funds received from this competition go towards therapy services for children with special needs. We are also still getting checks and sponsorships for our "Breakfast with Santa" fundraiser. If you haven't mailed your check yet and you still want to donate, please put it in the mail. We usually collect funds from the breakfast well into January!! Please consider supporting the clinic during this Christmas season and don't forget to go and vote for our display at Evangeline Downs! It is easy to spot. Look for the LSU display with out little Tigers!!
