🚨IMPORTANT UPDATE🚨

If you received a letter or phone call stating that we would no longer be in network with Prime Therapeutics as of June 1st, we have confirmed with BCBS that the letter was sent in error. We will continue to be in network and will continue to be able to serve customers on those insurance plans. As always, if you ever have any questions about the specifics of your particular pharmacy coverage, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to help!

Some of our customers have begun receiving letters from Prime Therapeutics, stating that we will no longer be in their health plan network as of June 1st. THIS IS NOT TRUE. We are working to clear up any confusion and to understand why our customers are receiving these letters, but rest assured that we will continue to be contracted with this insurance provider after June 1. Please monitor our page for any future updates.

Today was Ol’ Greg’s birthday, and y’all know we had to celebrate him! 😂🎉 So if you saw any of us with his face on our shirt, now you know. And every time someone asked why he didn’t have one of the shirts, his response was, “If I want to see myself, I’ll look in the mirror.” 😂 Y’all make sure you help us wish him a Happy Birthday! 🥳🎈

We’re so proud of our Gail, who graduated *WITH HONORS* (iykyk 😂) from LBW today! She’ll be around this Summer before leaving us to head to Mississippi State. No matter where life takes her, it’ll always be Gail O’Clock somewhere. 😎

If you or a family member has ever needed a life flight, you know how shocking the bill can be afterward. This program is designed to help with that! For a small annual fee, PHI Cares - Alabama will cover what your insurance does not so that you’re not left with overwhelming out-of-pocket costs. Brandon Lee from PHI will be here this coming Monday to provide more info, answer questions, and help you get signed up for this program.

What a guy! 😍 Even a 9-year-old understands how important our hospital is to our community. In Patrick’s words, “Mizell saved my Gigi’s life.” He has heard us talk about how vital Mizell is to our town, and he decided he wanted to pitch in! We know that there are people who can contribute a whole lot more than $20, but every gift counts, no matter how small!

Meet the newest member of Mizell's Dream Team, PATRICK! Even at 9 years old, he knows how important our hospital is to our community! He said he wanted "to help us be able to take of our patients"! Thank you, Patrick!

🚨TODAY is the day to reserve your state tax credit and help our hospital. The website is currently down because of so much traffic (which should tell you how much Alabamians want to support their local hospitals!). We’ve been told the website will be functional again at 2pm. You can follow these step-by-step instructions, and you have any questions, call one of the phone numbers listed in Mizell’s post or stop by the hospital and ask to speak to someone in administration.
