- “Just Breathe” I often say this to my clients who are “raw” in the grief process. We can’t forget to breathe, for this experience feels as if everything has been sucked out of us. We begin to take each second, minute, hour, day, week, month, year at our own pace. Because that is what it is…our personal journey on our timeline. It is not a race, there is only slow and steady which keeps the pace of every one of the breaths we take 😮‍💨

— Gratitude in Pain Although the journey of grief is painful, it proves how much love is there. Through the love is the permission to live your life filled with the memories of our loved one and the gratitude we experienced in the grief. It’s not fair, it sucks and it can be dreadfully life changing. But it is better to have lived and loved, than not to have at all. 😇🕊️💙🩷
