So many of us struggle with change when change surrounds us. The day goes from morning to afternoon to night. Sometimes it’s sunny and sometimes it raining. Sometimes it hot and sometimes it’s cold. Some change is small while at other times it large. So remind yourself that you deal with changes all day everyday when you find yourself struggling.

Life will always have its share of problems. I always tell clients I wish I could say as you grow they stop but they do not. The goal is as you grow you learn more how to cope and handle problems in a graceful way.

Some of us have loved ones in our lives, some of us do not. But regardless of who we have in our lives, at the end of the day we are individuals. We are left to our own minds. We are left to feel our feelings. We need to look out for ourselves. We need to take care of ourselves. Sometimes that means others are let down. But if we do not look out for ourselves and taking care of ourselves, who is?
