We are hiring for a Caregiver/Med Tech position.

Hello and Welcome to Oak Village!
Oak Village is a boutique assisted living facility in Orange City, FL that offers the highest quality of care in an intimate environment where the caretakers get to know the residents, their family members and really define our loving community. Does that sound better than the sterile corporate facility that you currently work at? Good, because it gets better.
We are looking for an experienced caregiver to work alongside another team member during the day to provide assistance to our 12 residents. Yes, a 6 to 1 ratio does not seem very demanding compared to the larger corporate facilities, but we want to ensure that you have plenty of time to interact with the residents by talking to them, playing games, going for walks and whatever creates a happy and healthy environment.
The Day Shift has a guaranteed 36-hour a week with three 12-hour shifts (may be able to accommodate other days) and there are commonly opportunities for overtime. The best part is that your hours and days stay consistent regardless of census and other factors because we are a small facility.
General caregiving responsibilities include:
- Ambulation (Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy weight)
- Activities
- Toileting
- Bathing
- Cleaning
- Laundry
- Cooking
- Medicine Assistance
Must have:
- Level 2 Background Screening (Required before starting)
- Certifications in CPR / First Aid
- Med Tech License
Nice to Haves:
- CNA, HHA, LPN and other healthcare certifications are helpful, but not required

We have one room available that is being refinished with new furniture including a new 50 inch TV! Almost no assisted living facilities have rooms furnished, but we are not like most places😀 We are a smaller community, so we provide real personalized and individualized care. Oak Village is an exclusive 12 resident assisted living facility in Orange City that is the ideal home-like environment for those in need of assisted living. We have a small and family-like environment where you get to know the employees, residents and family members.

We are in need of day and night shift positions. Must be reliable, flexible with the schedule, a team player and have a good personality. The role will have various responsibilities, but will be doing the following:
