Summer Health Tip – Hydration + Medications

Florida heat can sneak up fast, especially if you’re on medications.
Some prescriptions increase your risk of dehydration, overheating, or sun sensitivity. If you’re unsure about how your medications and the summer sun interact, give us a call. We’ll review it with you and make sure you’re staying safe.

In the meantime:
~ Drink plenty of water
~ Wear protective clothing and a hat
~ Never leave meds in a hot car
~ Ask us if your meds could increase your risk in the heat

We care about our patients and we would not want anyone caught out in the heat without the proper knowledge.
