We at Regen believe that massage is an integral part of full body health and wellness and should be implemented into any complete healthcare plan. Our techniques range from light relaxation for stress relief to deep tissue work. We do custom results-based sessions dependent on your needs and goals. Hey guys!! I know I remind you to get here like 5-10 minutes early and I just wanted to clarify that’s not so I can leave early or anything like that. Arriving around 5-10 minutes early for your massage appointment is to your benefit. You can take care of any intakes (for newbies) or ask any questions you’d like without feeling rushed and it also allows bathroom time 😉. Getting there early also allows you your full allotted massage appointment! Unlike some places at Regen time doesn’t start until you are on the table and you get FULL time.

So yeah this is just a reminder to plan ahead and get to me on time so we can spend the most time on your tissue issues 😉

As I gear up to come back from my little rest on Monday, I wanted to share a gentle reminder from my heart. 💜

We’re already in the thick of cold, flu, and “the illness that shall not be named” season. If you or your loved ones are under the weather, please let me know as soon as you can and take the time you need to heal. Massage isn’t recommended while sick, and I work with a lot of my RegenFam who have autoimmune issues, are immune-delicate, or are walking through cancer. I do everything I can to keep our space safe for them, and for you.

I’m also immune compromised myself. If I get sick, not only does it hit me harder, but no one’s backs get rubbed. 😅 That’s why your honesty and care in letting me know right away means the world.

And while we’re here, a gentle reminder: every cancellation impacts me. Even with a waitlist, filling spots takes time, and sometimes it just doesn’t happen. When appointments are booked months ahead and then canceled last minute, it ripples through my schedule and stability. My time, energy, and care are what allow me to keep showing up fully for you, and I’m so grateful when that’s honored. To help, I send reminder emails and texts, and if it’s helpful I can also provide you with an email that lists all of your appointments for the year.

So please, keep your cooties at home 🤭 Thank you for protecting this space we’ve created together, for respecting the work I pour my heart into, and for helping me continue to do what I love. I’m so excited to be back in the studio Monday, ready to hold space for you all again. 🌿💆🏻‍♀️

🟣 September is Pseudo Tumor Cerebri Awareness Month 🟣

Pseudo Tumor Cerebri (also called Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension) is rare, affecting about 1 in 100,000 people each year. For women of childbearing age, that number rises to about 20 in 100,000.

This condition happens when pressure builds inside the skull without a tumor being present. That pressure can affect the optic nerves, which may lead to vision changes or even permanent vision loss if left untreated. Common symptoms include:
• Frequent, severe headaches
• Pulsing or ringing in the ears
• Dizziness or balance issues
• Vision changes like double vision or brief vision loss

⚠️ About 25% of people with PTC experience permanent vision loss if it isn’t managed.

For me, this condition is most likely secondary—connected to my PCOS and the hormonal/endocrine shifts that come with it. It’s a reminder that chronic illnesses don’t always show up alone, and that our bodies are more interconnected than we realize.

I may look “fine” most days, but invisible illnesses like this are always being managed quietly in the background.

This month is about awareness. Because awareness means earlier diagnoses, better treatment, and more compassion for people walking through something you can’t always see.

✨ If you know me, then you know someone with PCOS. ✨

I honestly wish it still went by its original name Stein Leventhal Syndrome because maybe then people would take it more seriously.

A lot of people hear PCOS and think it’s just a reproductive disease. The truth is it’s an endocrine disorder that affects hormones throughout the whole body. Infertility is only one possible struggle, but it’s far from the whole story. There’s even a male counterpart called metabolic syndrome that shows up in similar ways.

For me, PCOS means higher testosterone levels than most women. It’s also connected to my secondary intracranial hypertension (pseudo tumor cerebri), which brings eyesight fluctuations, headaches, vertigo, and constant pain. Some days it feels like fibro flares, with joints and muscles aching until even simple movement is a fight.

And yet, people often look at me and only see the outside. They see that I have two children, see me thriving, working out, running my business, and assume my case must not be “that bad.” But the reality is not all chronic illness can be seen.

Years ago, I was in such a dark place with my health and anxiety that I thought I’d never function again. I even became agoraphobic for a while. Through a lot of work, healing, and persistence, I’ve come a long way. This isn’t a pity party for me but just a peek into what people can be dealing with behind the scenes. Just because someone carries it well doesn’t mean it isn’t heavy.

💚 September is PCOS Awareness Month 💚
I was diagnosed when I was 13. I’m thankful for my babies every day because I was told they might never happen. PCOS has taken me through so many battles, but it’s also made me a fighter.

So if you see teal this month, remember it’s for the 1 in 10 of us living with PCOS. And if you’re fighting too, I see you. You’re not alone. 💪🏻✨
