Genesis Family Practice would like to wish all of our patients and friends a very happy holiday! Genesis Family Practice will be open December 24th from 8am - 12noon, we will be closed Christmas Day, we will reopen normal business hours on Monday December 28th. Our urgent care located in our Orange City office will be open December 24th until 2pm, closed Christmas Day and reopen for normal business hours on December 26th. Busy Family Practice and Urgent Care located in Orange City is looking for a full time Certified Medical Assistant to join their team! Experience is required to be considered for this position...……………..

Responsibilities:

Document verbal conversations and information into patient record in an accurate legible and timely manner.
Maintain timely patient flow.
Prepare patient for visit as appropriate based on office/provider requirements.
Obtain specimens (i.e. urine blood etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. EKG PFT etc.).
Assist providers with examinations diagnostic procedures and treatments.
Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent.
Previous medical assisting experience required
Ability to use interpersonal skills to establish/maintain cooperative relationships with patients families members physicians/providers managers co-workers and external customers.
Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
