What's one piece of advice your mother gave you that you still carry with you today?

At John Knox Village, we're surrounded by incredible mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who continue to share their wisdom and love with family and friends. Whether it's a recipe that's been passed down through generations or words of encouragement that got you through tough times, mothers have a way of staying with us, no matter where life takes us.

This Mother's Day, we're celebrating all the amazing moms in our community and the countless ways they've shaped the people we've become.

A perfect May morning provided the backdrop for the 2nd Annual JKV Fitness Triathlon. Participants met first thing this morning for three heats, including biking, walking/jog, and swimming.

Congratulations to everyone who participated.

A very special congratulations to the winning team, comprised of JKV staff members Stan DeCosta (bike), Chris Rivera (walk/jog), and Kayla Cothran (swimming). Stan and Chris also had the fastest times for their heats.

Resident Joe Elam had the fastest overall time in the swimming competition.

We look forward to seeing everyone next year!
