I’m beyond excited to share that OUR Pediatric Diabetes Teams’ abstract —
“Enhancing Diabetes Transition of Care: Building Up Independent Lives for Teens (BUILT) Program’s Impact on Young Adults” —
has been accepted for an ePoster Tour Presentation at the 51st Annual Conference of the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) in Montréal, Canada 🇨🇦!

This work highlights the BUILT Program’s mission to guide teens with type 1 diabetes through the critical transition to adult care 💪🏽👩‍⚕️🧠

Super excited to be at the American Diabetes Association’s Scientific Sessions in Chicago representing our team!

I’m honored to present a Late Breaking Poster on our transition program — The BUILT Program (Building Up Independent Lives for Teens). This program helps empower teens and young adults with diabetes as they move from pediatric to adult care.

It’s a privilege to share the impact our team is making to improve education, confidence, and self-management during this critical transition.

Let’s keep building better outcomes for our youth with chronic conditions!
