💥Crossfitter Down, But Not Out💥
Well folks, the barbell broke up with my shoulder… and now I’m officially on Team Rotator Cuff Repair. 💔🩼
BUT here’s the deal: just because one part is on the bench doesn’t mean the whole body has to be! 💪
As a sports PT (who happens to be a CrossFitter with a sling accessory now), I’m living proof that you can keep training while injured — as long as you protect the healing tissue and get creative with your programming.
Think of it this way:
✅ One arm out? Time to build those thunder thighs.
✅ Can’t kip? Welcome to strict-core-city, population: us.
✅ No overhead? Ground game just got stronger.
I’ll be documenting my rehab journey and developing a fitness-focused protocol for rotator cuff repairs — because sitting still is not a personality trait I possess 😅
To my fellow wounded warriors: You don’t have to stop training — you just have to train smart. Let’s rebuild better (and maybe a little sassier).
