🇺🇸 This year for Veterans Day, our residents were blessed with fantastic performances by the Ridgeview High School Community Service Interact Club. There was singing, musical instruments, and a wonderful speech to thank everyone for their service. 🫡

Each veteran received a certificate and ribbon. Everyone also enjoyed refreshments while playing trivia. We are so thankful to the Interact Club for helping us honor our veterans this year. It was wonderful! ❤️🤍💙

🎃 Our Halloween-themed Painting with a Twist was fabulous! Our wonderful Activity Aide, Olga, did a fantastic job teaching the class. Our residents really enjoyed painting the night sky with a pumpkin. They did a great job. The twist was an awesome orange creamsicle float in a jack-o-lantern cup loaded with whipped cream! It doesn't get any better than that! 😁

Our pumpkin painting contest was excellent! 🎃

We are so thankful to the CNA students from Orange Park High School for joining in the fun! 😄 Our residents had a blast making theirs as well. The winner of the resident's contest was the SpongeBob pumpkin, and the winner for the other contest was the pumpkin latte. ☕ What a great time we had!

This year makes 29 faithful years that our wonderful friend Dan Marion from the Orange Park Methodist Church has visited our facility and brought their fantastic mobile pumpkin patch! 🎃

Each year our residents look forward to this event. We are so thankful for their kindness and generosity in volunteering and providing such a wonderful gift each year. They are so sweet to our residents. They have a passion for what they do. 😊

Everyone enjoyed apple cider, pumpkin and apple treats, while listening to live music out front. They all had their pictures taken 📸 at the patch and received a pumpkin to paint for our upcoming contest. What a wonderful day it was!

Our cooking class was Spook-tacular! 👻 We made the cutest mummies with puff pastry. They were yummy! The filling was chicken fajitas with peppers, onions, and cheese. Everyone really enjoyed it. 😋

This year is our 29th Anniversary for Life Care Center of Orange Park! 🎉 To celebrate, we held our annual Fall Festival. 🍁 What a great turnout! 😁

Everyone enjoyed TimmyBob's fantastic smoked pulled pork BBQ with homemade mac and cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw, popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy, and funny drinks like "punch me in the pumpkin," from the fall mocktail booth! 🍹

We had 23 booths this year! The highlight of the festival really was the wonderful live gospel music band that played steadily throughout the day. There were plenty of games, prizes, food, raffles, & music.

We are very thankful to all the local businesses that came to celebrate with us and set up their booths to join the fun. We also want to thank the Clay County Fire Rescue and Clay County Sheriff's Office, Florida for their participation with the fun co****le games and prizes. We also have some of the greatest volunteers you could ask for. 🫶

We served over 200 free lunches to associates, family, residents, and friends within the community! What a spectacular success! Thank you all for helping us celebrate and have such a wonderful day for our residents. 👍
