The sewing party at Moosehaven’s Katherine Smith Hall was a joyful afternoon filled with creativity, conversation, and smiles 🧵💚. With the help of residents Sandy Johnston, Charlene Fenimore, and Trudi Puda, along with Activities Director Donna, residents enjoyed creating keepsake pillows in a welcoming and supportive setting.

Moosehaven is bursting with holiday spirit 🎄✨ Our Resident Christmas Party was a wonderful evening of celebration, featuring a delicious filet mignon dinner, followed by dancing and door prizes in the Michigan Building. Smiles were everywhere as residents enjoyed time together and celebrated the season.

Each December, a special tradition returns to Moosehaven as our Georgia Moose family visits campus to help kick off the holiday season with our Christmas Tree Lighting Weekend. Residents enjoyed a cheerful afternoon picnic, which was made even more special with a visit from Ross Chastain, before gathering in the Moosehaven Chapel for one of our most beloved holiday traditions.

As the tree and campus lights were illuminated, Moosehaven was filled with warmth, joy, and the spirit of the season. For 29 years, this cherished celebration has been made possible through the generosity, dedication, and heartfelt commitment of the Georgia Moose family. On behalf of everyone who lives and works at Moosehaven, thank you for making the season shine.

Christmas cheer is here! 🎄 Friday, December 12, set a joyful tone here at Moosehaven as our Christmas Tree Lighting Weekend began with fellowship and holiday cheer. Residents gathered throughout the day for a relaxed Men’s Social, the beloved Women's Holiday Tea Party, and an evening Pizza Party filled with music and laughter.

These shared moments of connection and celebration are what make the season so special at Moosehaven. We are grateful for the continued support and generosity of the Georgia Moose family, whose dedication helps make these treasured traditions possible year after year.
