Caution for everyone coming to the clinic this week: our steel beams are getting some upgrades and with that, you may be walking through construction zones to and from the clinic. Our water is being turned off and on periodically throughout the day as well.

If you need assistance coming into the office, please let us know and we will send staff out to help. Yay for upgrades and workday plot twists! 😁Thanks for your patience. You all are THE best!

In honor of Transformation Tuesday, we are proud to introduce you to the friendliest, smiliest teammate at OPAW.

If you have had the pleasure of being greeted by this bright spirit at your Tuesday appointment, then you know just how uplifting and infectious her light is. When Jessica started with us a year ago, she was ready to start stepping into herself again, physically and mentally. She has truly blown us all away with her discipline, will, and dedication to her health with this incredible story of freedom as she keeps setting, and hitting, even higher goals. At the (not so subtle) encouragement from Dr. Selena, she joined the Jym Army and started competing in the Challenges right away, eager to jump in and learn as much as possible.

Since then, she's released 80 lbs, has learned to eat to fuel her body, and is making waves with fitness, catching the eye of none other than Dr. Jim Stoppani. We celebrate YOU today, Jessica K. Gamo. Congratulations on what you've accomplished so far and we are honored to be by your side on this adventure! 🤩

You know when Dr. Selena quietly slips into the room to remove the needles while you're acu-napping and you wake, startled, saying, "I didn't even hear you come in!", to which she jokingly replies: I'm a Ninja...

Yeah...about that.

Congratulations to our newly appointed Black Belt, Dr. Selena!

Selena, along with her husband and sons, have all earned their Black Belt ranking in Taekwondo (with Oliver, the youngest, proudly bearing the title of highest ranking Barbieri in the house...for now...as a First Degree Black Belt). 🥋

If you're looking for a Needle Ninja or the best martial arts school around, let us know next time you're in. We'll kick ya or stick ya in the right direction. 😁

I am feeling the 🩷 LOVE 🩷.

44 years old (on Saturday but everyone knows Taureans celebrate all month long). 😄

✨️ 19 ✨️ of those years have been spent helping thousands of people through Acupuncture. The blessing of me being able to continue to grow older and wiser (and funnier) while doing what I adore is the best birthday dream come true. 🦄
