As many of you have noticed around here, there is an absence of laughter and hallway dancing shared with us from our PT gals, as Linzy needed to take an earlier than expected retirement.

They were the heart of our clinic, helping so many patients alongside with us and making sure we knew the weather, saw ample pics of grandbabies, and did a salsa as we passed each other in the hallways.

Linzy's family has shared this link and we are passing it along to you all as well. If you feel called to help, I know they are extremely grateful. Any kind words, prayers, calls, cards etc are welcomed as well and will passed along to keep those smiles bright as this wild time is being navigated.

Caution for everyone coming to the clinic this week: our steel beams are getting some upgrades and with that, you may be walking through construction zones to and from the clinic. Our water is being turned off and on periodically throughout the day as well.

In honor of Transformation Tuesday, we are proud to introduce you to the friendliest, smiliest teammate at OPAW.

If you have had the pleasure of being greeted by this bright spirit at your Tuesday appointment, then you know just how uplifting and infectious her light is. When Jessica started with us a year ago, she was ready to start stepping into herself again, physically and mentally. She has truly blown us all away with her discipline, will, and dedication to her health with this incredible story of freedom as she keeps setting, and hitting, even higher goals. At the (not so subtle) encouragement from Dr. Selena, she joined the Jym Army and started competing in the Challenges right away, eager to jump in and learn as much as possible.

Since then, she's released 80 lbs, has learned to eat to fuel her body, and is making waves with fitness, catching the eye of none other than Dr. Jim Stoppani. We celebrate YOU today, Jessica K. Gamo. Congratulations on what you've accomplished so far and we are honored to be by your side on this adventure! 🤩

Selena, along with her husband and sons, have all earned their Black Belt ranking in Taekwondo (with Oliver, the youngest, proudly bearing the title of highest ranking Barbieri in the house...for now...as a First Degree Black Belt). 🥋
