On February 10-11, 55 home care advocates from across Florida through the Home Care Association of Florida traveled to Tallahassee, engaging directly with lawmakers to advance policies that protect patients, strengthen the workforce, and ensure access to high-quality care at home.
In just two days, advocates achieved unprecedented engagement:
• 60 in-person legislative meetings
• 92 additional lawmakers reached through office visits and advocacy materials
• 152 of Florida’s 156 lawmakers engaged

Good afternoon,

Please let this email serve as an effort to make you aware of the wonderful PTA your company has employed which is so very difficult to achieve in most job arenas these days. Hopefully it may also sway those who may have the power to hand out incentive awards for professional, over-the-top care and exceptional behavior towards their patients. There are times when the PT care a person receives is average, even boring, when compared to most... but not in this case. I felt as though it needs to be uncovered because the humble nature of this employee would never expect it.

I'm speaking of your PTA, Katherine, who works with Jason, PT, DPT, OCS.

Katherine was promptly and cheerfully coming to my home to administer PT and offer direction towards the new total knee that I just received on 11/05/25. She was on time, thorough, pleasant, deliberate, articulate and knowledgeable and I couldn't be more pleased with her level of information and the delivery.

She definitely is a rare find and I pray that she will be rewarded for her exceptional work.

Something prompted me to check my junk email folder today and I found this unsolicited email that was routed to junk. What a joy. Family Life Care has the best clinicians and caregivers.

Mr. Bellotti, I wanted to make you aware of my recent experience with Family Life Care and how pleased I am with the services provided. I underwent a total knee replacement on July 21 and began physical therapy the next day with Patricia. I can't say enough about Patricia and the excellent care and guidance she provided over the weeks we worked together. From her first visit until her last on September 8, she was always, encouraging, enthusiastic and professional. Her many years as a physical therapist were obvious in the way she guided me through my therapy and enabled me to meet my goals. In addition, Patricia has a wonderful personality and was a joy to have in our home. I also must mention Doug. I worked with Doug on the days Patricia couldn't make it and I couldn't have been more pleased. Doug was great at encouraging me and providing just enough push to get me to the next level. Doug also has a great personality and was fun to work with. My wife was very impressed with Doug's politeness and how courteous he was. Because of Patricia and Doug, my wife and I have told friends, neighbors and even my surgeon, how happy we were with Family Life Care. Joint replacement and everything that follows is never fun. But having Patricia and Doug to help me through it was a real blessing. Family Life Care is very fortunate to have these two wonderful employees representing them.

A great article from Wells Fargo regarding care for the family caregiver. As a Care Manager and Member of ALCA, it is awesome to see the article mention building a professional team including Care Managers. Also referenced is the use of respite care. These recommendations perfectly align with Family Life Care's holistic approach to patients from home making and companionship through hands on care and Medicare Post Acute care serving patients across the entire in-home and home health continuum.
