What an amazing Mother’s Day Celebration we had this past Saturday at Silver Treasures at Orange Park! The event was a huge success and filled with wonderful food, music, dancing, laughter, and special moments shared with family and friends.

Here at Silver Treasures at Orange Park, our ladies enjoyed a lovely morning painting class. They had a wonderful time exploring their creative side while painting soft pink and white blossoms. It was a fun and relaxing way to start the day.

Every Monday morning, we’re so grateful to welcome volunteers from Church of 1122 who lead a time of worship for our residents. Their visits bring comfort, joy, and connection to our community.
A special thank you to our musicians, Rick Williams, Bob Lanham on the banjo, Perry Hopper, and Steve Banks. Your music truly lifts spirits.
We also want to recognize Pat Whiting for her dedication in organizing these visits and bringing such wonderful people into our community.

A special thank you to Pat, Cindy, Tess, Kathy, and Fay from Church of 1122, who visit our community several times each week to host a variety of wonderful events for our residents. One of the monthly activities they lead is adult coloring, which our residents truly enjoy. They always arrive with coffee, cookies, plenty of colored pencils, and beautiful art projects to share. Their kindness, generosity, and dedication are such a blessing to our Silver Treasures community.
Thank you so much, ladies. We truly appreciate all that you do.

Lois Celebrating 104 Years!

We had the joy of celebrating Lois’ incredible 104th birthday, made even more special with the help of our wonderful VITAS family. VITAS joined us with a talented pianist who filled the room with beautiful music, along with members of their caring team who came to celebrate this amazing milestone with us.
Thank you, VITAS, for helping us honor Lois in such a meaningful and memorable way. What a truly special day!

A huge thank you to Dr. Paul Pitts, his wife Annette, and the wonderful members of the Church of Eleven22 for blessing our community with such a beautiful presentation.
Paul, an internationally renowned actor and recording artist, and Annette, a celebrated concert pianist, filled our community with joy, music, and inspiration. Their talent and kindness truly touched our residents.
We’re also grateful to the 1122 team for serving delicious ice cream sundaes—a sweet treat everyone enjoyed!

A heartfelt thank-you to all the families who joined us—your presence made the evening feel even more special. Our residents had such a great time enjoying a delicious meal, sharing laughs, and even getting out on the dance floor. And a huge thank-you to our amazing staff for their hard work, warmth, and dedication in making nights like this possible. Our community truly shines when we come together

We’re saying goodbye to our amazing Med Tech/Caregiver, Lakisha Lawson, who has been part of our Silver Treasures family for over three years. Lakesha was recently honored as our Team Member of the Month, and it’s easy to see why, her caring heart, dedication, and willingness to help others touched everyone here.

She’s moving out of state to be closer to her grandchildren, and while we will miss her deeply, we wish her all the love and happiness in this next chapter.
