URGENT WARNING
I woke up this morning with a message burning in my spirit. I need you to understand something first: This isn't ME being judgmental. This isn't me looking down on anyone. This is me being OBEDIENT to what God spoke to me about His children - about YOU - and I love you too much not to say it.
I'm the big sister who just heard our Father's footsteps coming down the hall, and I'm running to warn my younger siblings because I don't want ANYONE left outside when that door closes.
God spoke with an urgency that made my hands shake: 'SEEK AFTER ME NOW BECAUSE THE DOOR IS CLOSING. PREPARE NOW. TELL THEM.'
So here I am. Telling you. Not because I'm better than you. Not because I have it all figured out. But because He TOLD me to, and I would rather risk offending you now than watch you realize too late that you missed it.
I don't want your blood on my hands when you stand before Him.
The door is closing. RIGHT NOW. While you're scrolling. While you're sipping your coffee. While you're planning your week like you have all the time in the world.
You don't.
THE CONFRONTATION
The thing that's going to shock most of the body of Christ on that day isn't that they sinned too much. It's that they NEVER KNEW HIM.
'Depart from Me, I never KNEW you.'
Do you understand what that means? He's not saying 'you messed up too many times.' He's saying 'WE WERE STRANGERS.'
You went to church. You sang the songs. You raised your hands. You served in ministry. You posted the Bible verses.
And He's going to look at you and say, 'Who are you? I don't know you.'
Because you never pursued INTIMACY with Him. You pursued information ABOUT Him. You pursued the BENEFITS of knowing Him. But you never pursued HIM.
Psalm 91 protection? It comes from DWELLING in the secret place. Not VISITING. Not dropping by on Sundays. DWELLING. Intimacy.
THE CHALLENGE
When was the last time you sat with Him and didn't ask for a single thing? When was the last time you opened the Word not to find an answer but to encounter YESHUA HIMSELF - because the Bible IS Him, it's not just a book ABOUT Him?
When was the last time you lingered in His presence long enough to actually KNOW Him?
Sunday morning Christianity isn't going to cut it anymore. He wants to reveal the mysteries of the Kingdom, but He's not giving deep revelation to shallow seekers. The secret things belong to those who SEEK.
So here's your choice, right now, today:
Will you RESPOND to this warning and run after intimacy with Him like your eternity depends on it - BECAUSE IT DOES?
Or will you read this, feel convicted for 30 seconds, and go right back to your casual, comfortable, surface-level Christianity?
Because I'm telling you - the door is closing. And 'I didn't know' won't be an acceptable answer when you're standing on the outside.
HOW TO CULTIVATE INTIMACY - RIGHT NOW
Here's what intimacy with Yeshua actually looks like. Not theory. Not someday. TODAY.
STOP TREATING PRAYER LIKE A SHOPPING LIST.
He's not Amazon. Stop coming to Him only when you need something. Sit with Him to KNOW Him. Ask Him about Himself. 'Who are You? Show me Your heart. Let me see what You see.' Stay until He answers.
READ THE WORD AS AN ENCOUNTER, NOT INFORMATION.
The Bible IS Yeshua (John 1:1). Every page is Him revealing Himself. Stop speed-reading for your daily checkmark. Slow down. Ask Him to reveal Himself in what you're reading. 'Show me YOU in this passage.' Then wait. Listen. Let Him speak.
PRACTICE HIS PRESENCE ALL DAY LONG.
Not just morning devotions. ALL. DAY. Acknowledge Him while you're working, driving, cooking, breathing. Talk to Him like He's actually WITH you - because He is. 'I see You here. I recognize You at this moment.' Make Him your constant companion, not your emergency contact.
LINGER IN THE SECRET PLACE.
Psalm 91:1 - 'He who DWELLS in the secret place.' DWELLS. That means you LIVE there. You don't visit on Sundays. You abide. You make intimacy with Him your HOME, not a destination you occasionally travel to.
PURSUE HIM LIKE THE BRIDE SEEKS THE BRIDEGROOM.
Song of Solomon level pursuit. Desperate. Hungry. 'I won't let You go until You bless me' (Genesis 32:26). Stop being passive. Stop waiting for feelings. SEEK Him with everything in you.
THE FINAL WORD
The mysteries of the Kingdom are reserved for those who seek Him in the secret place. Deep revelation comes to deep intimacy.
The door is closing.
Prepare yourself NOW.
Seek Him NOW.
Not tomorrow. Not after you finish this busy season. Not when life calms down.
NOW.
Because I never want to see you standing outside that door, hearing those words: 'I never knew you.'
Run after Him. Today. This moment.
The time is NOW.
THE NOW ACTION
Here's what you're going to do RIGHT NOW - not later, not after you finish scrolling, not when you're done with your day.
Put your phone down. Close your tablet. Shut your computer.
Set a timer for 15 minutes.
Sit with Him.
Ask Him to speak to you at this moment about HIMSELF. Not about your problems. Not about your questions. About WHO HE IS.
Then quietly listen.
Don't fill the silence with words. Don't get distracted. Don't pick your phone back up in 3 minutes because it feels awkward.
LISTEN.
Let this be the first step of intimacy. The first moment of seeking Him, not just information about Him.
The door is closing.
The time is NOW.
